This album is...
a collection of easy listening, pop and rock songs. All these songs are from the heart and life experiences. Danny B has a unique style for the intro of these songs and how he incorporates what he hears in his head and heart and the ability to put it to lyrics and music. The album's title song was played repeatedly at Woodstock '99 for the 'tent people'. Danny B was unable to attend the original Woodstock as he was serving in the army at that time. When the opportunity to attend the 30 year anniversary Woodstock presented itself to him, he was happy to oblige. Danny B of course took his guitar and started playing the first night of Woodstock for the audience that surrounded his tent. The song caught on, and the crowds all joined in singing the chorus verse. It became a nightly request to play the song so all surrounding tent dwellers could join in.
The majority of the songs reflect feelings from missing someone, being rejected by a lover, putting off falling in love and missing your love. The normal feelings and relationships one experiences in walking through life. Megan's Song is the only heavy song which was written for her, and how no one, not even her closest friends had a clue of the internal pain and suffering she was experiencing. The song relays how she felt her only way out was to try and commit suicide. Pleased to say that she is alive and well and received the needed help in coping with her situation. The song does point out the fact that far to frequently we do not understand what another person is going through.
The song "Donna" is dedicated to Danny B's wife and is a true fun rock and roll tune. "Since I Saw Your Face" is the first love song that Danny B ever wrote.
Danny B has many more songs yet to be professionally recorded and is hoping to continue working on them as time permits. This includes re-releasing his songs "Love Mark" and "Never Going To Leave". His goal in the near future is to start doing this full time.
